I had never had a very fortunate love life. I always dreamed of a soul

I had never had a very fortunate love life. I always dreamed of a soul mate which would end up being my husband , but I was never lucky to find such an interesting and romantic combination. I was introduced to world of speed dating by a very promiscuous and crazy haired co-worker of mine who seemed to be happy living life as it came to her. I was curious to find out what fun she got out of the world of speed dating since her every weekend seemed to introduce a new type of rare male breed which she'd speak of for the entire week.
I agreed to go on the speed dating adventure after she enticingly described the rush and exciting feeling she got after being introduced to thirty men in thirty minutes and having to decide which one appealed most to her after a minute of talking to him. It seemed interesting enough since most men I had met were introduced by a friend who had no clue what I found to be a great man to cuddle and try to find good qualities in. Why not try the speed dating and get over the nervousness of meeting a complete stranger and the anxiety that builds before you meet a complete stranger who knows you only by someone else chosen descriptive words and his ability to use the descriptive words to form an image of you in his head.
Emily, the crazy haired lunatic of a person who had invited me to this event, picked me up at seven in the evening. She explained how we'd all be sat on a chair with a table and then the men would be given a minute to talk and introduce themselves to us. If we were interested, we could ask for their numbers. It seemed to be ridiculously fun and never did I actually believe that I would find someone interesting enough to care to ask for a date after a minute of getting to know them. The host rang the bell and the men began their quest of trying to sell themselves the best they could in a minute. After the fifteenth male that stood in front of me, a gorgeous tall and blue eyed man stood before me. He seemed to be shy and nervous. He spoke very little ,but I knew he was the man I wanted to meet again. I made my way to him after the thirty men had done their best and asked him for a date he agreed and we've been happily married since.
