My teenage daughter comes home and starts telling me about this guy that she likes at her high school. She is a really sweet girl and she is the type that doesn't just go out with any guy. She is very picky when it comes to dating the boys. She is very conservative, and very smart. I am so very proud of her. She tells me that this guy she likes, his name is Bill. She says that he is very sweet and asked out. He suggested that they go to the zoo. She said that would be a perfect place for a first date. You can walk around and talk, and get to know each other better while looking at the animals. Right now is the perfect time of year to go also. It's not too hot so the animals will be out and active. And it's not to cold either, so they will be out enjoying the sun.

I remember when I was dating. It used to be that adult dating used to be so much different than dating with the younger crowds. But now, it seems to be a lot of things in common. It used to be that your partner used to so passionate about only seeing you, and nobody else. Now these days it seems like adult dating is so much more relaxed and carefree. I remember when it was something really important to have a steady boyfriend or girlfriend. Couples seem to take adult dating like it was when we were in high school. Not necessarily a good thing.

My daughter seems to one of the very few young adults that takes dating maturely. It's like she takes dating like adult dating should be, she is very compassionate about the things she likes. She wants to meet somebody that will treat her right and a guy who is serious and mature. I can't blame her, she is going to college next year and she wants to find someone she can be with without all the immature drama. Nobody needs that, especially when you're young and starting off in a new life and career. I am sure that she will do just fine. She is starting off right. Probably much better than I did when I was her age. I went into the military when I finished high school. That was the best route for me, and I'm glad I did.
