We Are Adults

The warm weather here in Mississippi is beyond the normal as each day that goes by the temperature just keeps rising. It feels like my soul is just melting away in this heat as I ride by bike down the street delivering the mail each morning while the entire town is still in bed sleeping. These newspaper round get so lonely I just wish there was someone out there that could come and give me a cuddle and show they cared for me. I just want to feel a woman's touch and to feel loved.

This job does have it's good points along with the bad aspect of having wake up so early I have to be in bed by 10pm every night. The one good thing is that my right arm has approved so much for baseball that I am now swinging the bat so hard I am striking out entire teams for my high school with at least 4 home runs each and every match. My arms have grown several inches with all this throwing newspapers on people's lawns. I once cycled past this house and accidentally threw the paper so hard it cracked a window in their kitchen. My swinging arm is like a lethal weapon these days and I feel sorry for any muggers that try to attack me. I used to be bullied a lot when I was younger and the older kids would flush my head down the toilet as punishment if I didn't hand over my pocket money during the lunch break.

I was such a scrawny helpless kid back then I was too scared to stand up for myself or refuse to do what they said. I was like a scared little girl and everyone knew it as they took advantage of me. My parents were rich back then so all the bullies knew I was getting a lot of pocket money so they targeted me all through the first 9 years I went to school and the principal just looked the other way. Today I am the best built guy in high school and I am swinging mad with my lethal arms that just about fit into the sleeves on my shirts. Everyone believes I can be the new Barry Bonds with my swinging as I have already netted over 200 home runs this season already and I am not about to quit yet. My goal is to become the greatest baseball player in the world. Only time will tell now.
