We Are Adults

It was a beautiful fall day. The air was sweet with the smell of breakfast in the school cafeteria. I got up and got my breakfast, the food didn't taste at all like it smelled. I sat there at the table looking at the clock. For the first time all of my friends were late. That's when this beautiful blond girl came walking in, her long hair swinging back and forth. She sat right down at my table. She asked me, "why are you sitting alone?" I told her about my friends and we got to talking. Her sweet aroma engulfed me. I knew right then and there I must stay in her life.

When I got out of my art class she met me at the door, she asked me for a hug, weird I thought, but I gave her a hug any way. Her aroma of her sweet body flew over me again. I wanted to ask her out so badly, but I was worried that she wouldn't except my feelings. My heart was shattered when we turned the corner and a guy put his arm around her. Kissing her cheek, he asked, "who's this guy and she told him". As he left he kissed her again and looked back at me.

At home all I could think about was, "I adore a taken girl". My heart hurt so much, I slowly fell asleep. The next day I was in art class and she came in kind of sad. She told me that she broke up with her boyfriend. I gave her a hug and told her everything would be okay. I wanted to ask her if she would go out with me, but my fear of not being good enough for her started to set in.

After a few days of my hugging her in the morning and her brother getting mad at me because I was hanging out with her. She finally ask if she could be my girlfriend. I wanted to say "yes", I told her I would think about it. Not the best thing to say to a future girlfriend. Well she hugged me and I smelled her beautiful aroma again.

The next day I found out that she was a freshmen. I adore a freshmen. Me a senior an I adore a freshmen. After that everyday she would ask me if I had thought about it. I told her I need more time. Finally, one day I asked her if she really wanted to go out with me, I told her to really think about it. The next day, she told me she didn't know, well I wasn't sure, but I told her everybody thinks we're going out any way. So I finally said yes, I want you to go out with me. That day was the happiest day of my life.

To this day, I am still the happiest man in the world. I have my beautiful girlfriend and as long as I have her nothing can go wrong.
