We Are Adults

Being a young adult and a career woman, I cango dating free. Though I have the privilege of not asking permission from my parents anymore, I still have restrictions and limitations that I follow when it comes to dating. I am also being responsible with my actions. That's what a adult supposed to do right? And since I was single back then, I have experienced lots of dates. Some where fun, some were not. Some of them became my boyfriends and others remain as my friends up to the present.

I remember the first few dates I had with my now boyfriend. The first time I saw him, he really caught my eye. I really want to give him a hug right then and there. He was really so cute and lovable, he's like a teddy bear you would definitely love to hug. Turns out, he was a really nice person. Luckily, he too was attracted to me the first time we met. Whenever I would ask him now if what were the things he saw in me that made him like me, he would tell me that he found my smile cute and my personality lovable. It was an instant turn-on for him. He has a whole lifetime with me to prove that the things he said were true.

He courted me for two months sending me flowers, chocolates, cute notes and teddy bears. I have a cabinet full of bears from him. My favorite one is the 4 feet brown teddy bear he gave me. I usually hug this one whenever I go to sleep. We went out of town, to beaches, scenic places and churches. It was really fun to hang out with him. Our feelings for each other flourished and we became a couple. A lovable one. My parents and siblings liked him. He is that adorable. I also got the chance to bring him in one of our family reunions and he charmed all of my relatives and cousins. I loved him even more because of that.

At present we are already planning for our wedding. If our finances permit it. I would be Mrs. Bustamante by next year. I'm keeping my fingers closed.
