We Are Adults

Here's a short story about a guy who loves dating women. He's the happy-go-lucky type who is obviously not ready to have a steady girlfriend because he changes his date as if he was changing his clothes. For now, he's just really into dating girls that are also just doing it for fun. He usually just wants a girl to get passionate with in a short lived relationship. Here's the scenario .. Whenever he starts to date a woman,he usually gets to meet them in bars or clubs and after a few drinks and chit-chat he would then pretend to want to get to know her and after a few introductions he would then say he would like to see her again and offer her an invitation to lunch or dinner the following day. A movie right after that and the night usually continues in his apartment where they would spend the whole night together. Waking up the next morning though, he just has this empty feeling in him. He would still communicate with the girl for a few days but eventually he gets bored and when he does he would just change his number so she won't be able to get in contact with him anymore.

Maybe he hasn't yet found the right women to be his girlfriend? We don't know if that's the case for sure, because there are some guys who just wanna have fun. Too scared for a commitment and whatnot. Once he starts to feel that the relationship is "getting somewhere", he tends to break it off and move on to the next women.

Among all the women he's dated he has not once got to feel the love in them which could be another reason why he can't be passionate enough to take things seriously. He has yet to feel that mutual connection with the woman he would be willing to be serious with.

For him, having a girlfriend is a big commitment. He's had to be responsible enough to understand her feelings and he has to grow up. For being passionate in bed will not be enough in a serious relationship.
