We Are Adults

I'd just broken up from my boyfriend and decided to get right back onto the horse and join an internet dating site which was all rather exciting to begin with. I was just looking for a fun fling with a nice guy. I chatted with a handful of guys over the next month and decided to meet up with a couple of them. Who said i had to limit myself to one fling? I was a woman on the market now and i would play the field as much as i chose to. Each one of them decided to treat me to a dinner, trip, picnic by candle light. This must be some new dating thing that everyone knows about but me.The first dinner by candle light was exciting as it was my first time, but the guy, jeez he was the most boring guy i think I've ever dated. The second was a trip around the Thames on a boat surrounded by candles, i don't think i could've asked for anything more romantic but the attraction just wasn't there. I was starting to lose hope i didn't even want a fling anymore i just wanted someone, it was proving harder then i first thought. At least i got to go out on some nice dates and i had one more to come. The picnic by candle light was one of the most simple dates I'd been on, the guy had laid out a plaid blanket and a nice wooden picnic basket and cracked out some champagne. It was definitely the most exciting as i hadn't seen his face before I'd only spoken to him. I know it was risky and we were meeting in a secluded place but i'd just given up at this point and thought i might as well up the risk factor. This guy was incredibly good looking and the most interesting guy i had ever met. Forget the fling i was interested in this guy, so i played it cool and won him over. We're dating now, its pretty good we sometimes still have a picnic to re live the moment we met.
